From the 19th century there remains only the two towers which just escaped the destruction of the war in 1918.
The reconstruction of the 20s allowed Albert Caquot to apply his concrete veil technique without pillars.

It became the factory G. DESROUSSEAUX making travel goods for many years and older inhabitants of Vouziers still remember the cases and other basketwear goods.

Since 1988, the entrance between the twin tours at 33 rue Gambetta gives on to the CINEMA with its two screens, the larger room also being used for live SHOWS, an entrance hall and a cafeteria.

The second entrance, opposite Verlaine square (the courthouse of Vouziers) gives access to the municipal library, to the exhibition rooms, the work and practice rooms of the municipal band and the music school.

The centre is run with the help of a cultural co-ordinator from the association that bears the same name as the building "Les Tourelles".
